The 2019-2020 Student Centre
The Student Centre at Gorsebrook Junior High School services grade 7 through 9. We offer resource to students who have been identified through our program planning team process. Some of our resource time is spent in the classroom with students and some of the time is on a "pull out" basis. Our Student Centre also offers "open" times where any student may drop in for a quiet space, a bit of help or use of a computer. Both English and French students can use the resource room.
Our student centre also provides learning centre support for students with higher needs. The student centre liaises with the school planning team, families, psychologists, speech language pathologists and assistive tech to support the needs of designated students at Gorsebrook Junior High.
